Recollections from My Earliest Umrah Journey
My Earliest Umrah Journey, My first memory of the Kaaba is of a framed photo which is hanged in our relations home. I’ve forever had a wish to stay the Masjid Al Haram and when I lastly booked my ticket it was a daydream that was leaving to come true. When the travel permit came through I was single footstep nearer but I believed to myself, I won’t consider it has happened until I’m present.
My Earliest Umrah Journey
Umrah Journey, There are many incidents where people were not capable to depart for Umrah or Hajj yet after getting their visas due to unlucky situation. Visiting the house of Allah is truthfully amazing which Allah invites people to, something which a pair of my contacts reminded me.
We landed in Jeddah airfield and boarded our air-conditioned coach to Makkah. Not too lengthy ago, previous to air-transportation, Muslims would take on difficult journey on foot, on camel, by car and by boat. Allah has made journey simple for us and we express thank Him for that.
As we entered the holy city of Makkah I was on the watch for the clock tower (yes, people don’t like it), it would be the first symbol pointing to the Masjid Al Haram. Considering it only greater than before my expectation which encouraged me to look out for the minarets.
Finally, the good-looking minarets emerged at the back of the hotels which enclose the Masjid, this filled me and my member travelers with happiness and we were just meters away from the Masjid.
We were dropped off out at our hotels where we unloaded and freshen up. We were exhausted and jet-lagged and had to make a decision if we are supposed to go to nap and do Umrah after waking up or if we should do it right away.
Out of keenness, we determined that we would do it directly gone and then relax for the nighttime.
As we approached the Masjid from the square, it strikes me, I was here. My du’as had been accepted and I was a visitor invited to the house of Allah.
Watching the Kaabah for the Earliest Time
We punctually complete our way towards the Mataf, all the while lowering our look. lastly, when we were close enough, we lifted our eyes to observe the gorgeous Kaabah – towards which millions of Muslims face each daylight. Such a moment can’t be spoken in words, it can only be practiced. May Allah allow you every one to do so.
Performing Umrah
We began by performing the seven Tawafs and we were packed with thankfulness to Allah that He permissible us to be here. Allah made the Tawaf simple and after finishing that, we prayed two Rak’ahs at the back of the Maqam of Ibrahim (as).
There is a lot of who attempt to pray right at the back it in their keenness; though this inconveniences those performing Tawaf so we determined to discover a mark at the backside where we were able to pray at the back it ensuring we were not troublesome others. We proceeded to drink some cool ZamZam previous to make our way to the Mas’a.
The primary few rounds were simple but it became hard towards the most recent few rounds partially due to the fact that I was carrying my daughter who was one and a half years aged on my back on a baby carrier. What reserved me going were thoughts about how Haajra (ra) had run between the two hills in the burning Arabian warmth. There were no cooling systems nor were there any mineral floor covering in those days. From My Umrah Journey.
Finished Our Beautiful Umrah Journey
Alhamdulillah with Allah’s assist we finished the Umrah Journey and I complete my way to a barbers nearby to acquire my head shaved.
To me, shaving one’s hair is representative to one’s sins life form forgiven (if Allah accepts). All our history mistakes and sins just fall absent as rapidly as it takes for a knowledgeable barber to move smoothly a razor-sharp blade across the head.
Do keep in mind although, you don’t have to do Umrah to have your sins forgiven, all you have to do is regret to Allah genuinely regretting what you have complete and have a solid intention not to entrust that sin again. Allah is Most-Forgiving and He loves to pardon.
Public All Over the Place
Allah blessed us to spend a week in Makkah and the far above the ground number of pilgrims and the structure work destined that we had to go to the Masjid near the beginning in order to get in. The guards had a well-organized crowd manage system that was in place to avoid over-crowding. May Allah reward those who help with the day to day management of the Masjid.
Each Muslim has a wish to kiss the black stone but it was amazing that I did not effort. Attempting it would denote I’d inexorably have to shove my method towards it and I might have incurred offense by putting one more Muslim in complexity. We wait to be forgiven by kissing the black stone but do we really be expecting Allah to fulfill such a desire when it is complete by inconveniencing dozens of other Muslims?
As I sat in the Mataf once hours of daylight, I sat here thoughts how the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would have walked their lasting hardships to lecture the memorandum entrusted unto him by Allah. The likes of Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with them) had grown-up in the shadow of this refuge and were finally forced to leave their much-loved city.
Ibrahim (as)’s Prayers Answered
Once, as the Maghrib adhan was being called I thinking to myself that it was this Kalimah which the polytheists of Makkah were annoying so hard to put down but small did they know it would carry on to be proclaimed for hundreds of centuries, and now, through loud-speakers, it reaches the mountains nearby Makkah. Allah’s undertake was true and the Muslims prevailed at the end.
No matter what hardship we bear, let’s keep in mind that Allah’s undertake is correct and the good-outcome will be for the believers. If we don’t see the fruits in this World, our prize is waiting for us in the after this Insha Allah.
It was also anywhere Ibrahim (peace be upon him) implored Allah to approve the city with security and supplies, to twist the hearts towards it so that people came in their numbers. His prayers were answered and what I experiential attested to that.
I saw people from all over the world from all walks of existence. From the wealthy to the poor, those from the southern-most parts of Africa to those from the far-east. From the lightest of skins to the darkest, they were there for one reason – for Allah.
Upcoming from a city like New York, considering citizens from dissimilar backgrounds was not amazing but I couldn’t assist but speculate how persons who were from distant villages – who have by no means seen a person of one more race or color – felt considering fellow Muslims from all in excess of the world.
Turks Show Love
In my this Umrah journey when I was sitting reciting the Qur’an sitting on the higher stage of the provisional Mataf after Fajr prayer, gazing downward at the gorgeous Kaabah when an old Turkish man came and sat after that to me. He sat there with his Tasbih invoking the name of Allah whilst listening to my recitation. After I ended the Surah I was reciting I curved to him to say Salam. I didn’t be expecting to be able to have a chat with him as I hadn’t met many Turks who knew how to speak English or Arabic but to my shock he was confident in Arabic.
He was from Konya which is recognized for the religiosity amongst its population. He asked me where I was from and spoken joy to learn that I was from USA. And he prayed for the Muslims in USA and kissed me on my forehead.
One more story about the turks
I’d like to contribute about the Turks is of a grown-up brother I experiential whilst to come for Jumu’ah. I had gone additional early to make sure I got a space in the Masjid. The man most likely spent over an hour leaving back and forth with three plastic cups (as a lot of as he might hold at a time) from the containers containing ZamZam water, providing a much wanted refreshing cool drink to people attending worship waiting for Jumu’ah.
Why didn’t the keen people attending worship get up and assist themselves to the water? almost certainly because they dared move from their space as space was at a best with gaps snapped up as almost immediately as someone apparently vacated their spaces.
I noticed the Ottoman-era porticos which were being restored and it just got me thoughts how it must have been when the Turks were in charge with helping the pilgrims. I must speak though, in spite of the many criticisms leveled at the Saudis, they are doing a huge job. this all about my Umrah Journey.
May Allah call us to His home time and time again. Ameen.
