Ramadan Do’s

- Recite Holy Quran
Serve your majority of the time in reciting Holy Quran with translation to make yourself understand verses and its sacred meanings. This can be your first ticket to seek maximum forgiveness from Allah in Ramadan. For reading every single word of Quran, there’s a reward so it’s on you how many you want to receive. Avail this opportunity as frequently as possible in this holy month.
- Volunteer in Charity
Be the first one to meet local needs of the poor and devote your time to raise awareness in poor and support the struggling ones. For those who do not help
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Apostle (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever is made wealthy by Allah and does not pay the Zakat of his wealth, then on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will be made like a bald-headed poisonous male snake with two black spots over the eyes. The snake will encircle his neck and bite his cheeks and say, ‘I am your wealth, I am your treasure.’ “[Sahih Al-Bukhari] Volume 2, Book 24, Number 486
- Pursue Sunnah
Acting upon the preaching of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) is another great source of getting a reward in Ramadan. It is necessary for every Muslim to learn Sunnah and then practice. The routine of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) should be standard footsteps for every Muslim’s life.
- Perform Taraweeh
Another to do must is Taraweeh prayer after Isha which is special in the month of Ramadan. It is performed 3o days in addition to daily five prayers to achieve the highest grace of Almighty Allah.
Ramadan Don’ts
- Dropping Patience
One should not lose patience during fasting and be keeping the calm is the real testimony of faith you encompass during Ramadan. It is prohibited in Quran to refrain from fights, abusiveness and nudge behavior. Tolerance is the key to cease all problems.
- Eating Unhealthy
Take care of what you eat in Suhoor and Iftar. Avoid heavy meals before dawn and immediately after dusk to stay away from health problems. Eat light food but healthy. Do not over-pour your stomach and avoid excessive junk food in Ramadan.
- Backstabbing
We are sure that someone who holds grudges in this blessed month should learn to start forgiving for good and keeping the bad vibes to him only and instead of showing the attitude of persistence. Unnecessarily yelling, using the harsh language for another Muslim brother will not do justice to your fast. Keep the evil away.
- Dressing Inappropriately
Try not to dress in filthy or uncovered clothes as Ramadan is an exam of your body, mind, and soul and
And for executing the ‘Wuzu’, clothes also plays a vital role in Salah. Don’t unleash the modesty.
