Surah Mulk protects you while you are sleeping. While sleeping, we are unable to protect ourselves and are more vulnerable to the devil. The protection at this time is vital, and by reciting this Surah, an angel is sent to us that protects us throughout the night. As one saying of Prophet Muhammad PBUH says:

Reciting Surah Al-Mulk holds blessings in a multitude of amounts in a few minutes. It has only 30 verses and takes a small amount to read. But do not forget to reflect upon the verses by merely reading the Surah. We all must know what our Lord is directing us in this Surah. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH said:

This Surah contains 1300 letters and ten times to this is equivalent to thirteen thousand rewards. A lot of rewards for only five minutes of work!
